For years I boycotted Google; from 97-2002 I was a Yahoo user, Yahoo email, Yahoo everything. Now I can’t do anything on the net with certain Google tools. I even avoided Google’s Gmail till about four months ago. Now! What was I thinking? I use many Google tools. Bernos uses hosted Gmail, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Labs and soon (maybe) Google checkout. You just can’t do anything on the web without Google.

The image above was created as we are compiling ideas for the next set of Bernos tshirts. We thought pretty cool but not for a shirt too colorful. Maybe one of you would create a site called gethiopia.com and use the image above as a header, and put the Google search bar on the site with Google Adwords on the bottom. Voila! Send to Ethiopians to bookmark/use and make some money. Why not, 4 dollars a day is a 100 dollars a month and 1,200 a year. That’s how it starts. I’m sure MyEthiopia.info makes way more than that by suggesting you those books at the bottom.

But ya, Google will let it and if it becomes big they will buy it. i.e. most of the Ethiopian Blogs you read are hosted on Blogspots and that was bought by Google in 2003.
