Most that are aquinted with me, know that I layout a newspaper. Thus I end up looking at the design of newspapers. The newspaper of a certain city tells us a lot about the sentiment of that particular society at the time.

“666” stands for The Beast.

The Number of the Beast is mentioned in the Book of Revelation of the Christian New Testament and has long been accepted to be 666… The meaning of the number is debated. In some interpretations of Christian eschatology the “Beast” is believed to refer to a being controlled by or equated with the Antichrist, whereas some scholars… contend that the number is a code for the Roman Emperor Nero,^[1] a view that is also supported by the Roman Catholic Church.^[2][3]

The Beast is big here in the US, as you can see by the first page of major newspapers. The Japanese have a comic book called 666. The Portuguese had a rock band called 666. I wonder what the Ethiopian version of the Bible states in Revelation 13:16-18? 

Back to the newspaper, notice two of the papers have the number "666" ambiguously written in white, white on black signifies danger. Although in this case the background is a gradient and all of the “666” is not seen. I suspect they are attempting to imply the “unknown;” which in this case probably is what will happen in the day of the BEAST.

The red ink in two of the paper means, well everyone comprehends the symbolism behind the color red. The Devil is red, blood is red, and the stop sign is red. Key Shiber is well, red. Wait! Didn’t Key Shiber start in 1976? Notice it ends with 6.
